A Cause That We Should All Support

Kuwait Oasis is an environmental voluntarily project which calls on people who go camping during the winter time to plant 10 trees of certain type and irrigate it during the winter season. By the end of the season this tree will be able to survive and year after year our deserts will be our kid’s oasis. My older brother started this cause back in december 2010,

It was a small idea back then and maybe a wild dream, today the became true ! and turned into a national cause which is supported by many individuals and companies. The first oasis was created in Nuwaiseeb city currently the oasis contain 600+ trees, in the near future it will have 3000+ trees ! Imagine how it will look in 5 years !

I’m so proud of my brother !

Be The First to See: Reception 2 Opening

I have visited reception 2 exhibition at Missoni Hotel in its opening day , Just to show you what did I’ve meant by quality in my previous post about them. Here are some pictures, unfortunately  I wasn’t able to shoot more than 3  pics because the place was packed! enjoy being the first to watch and make sure you pay a visit to the exhibition if you did not. The exhibition will be there till 30th of may.

Munch Catering for The World Cup Opening Evening Dinner

A friend of mine arranged a “Diwaneya “dinner on the world cup match day one evening.

Munch Catering was taking care of the event. The menu was customized by the host and it included several type of marinated beef and chicken ,mini wagyu burgers and pizzas.

I’ve never expected the food to be as good as it was, the whole experience was just amazing food ,service, quality and value.

The event Costs 180 K.D and the food was enough for 20 persons.

Splendid Failaka !

Failaka, named Icaria by the ancient Greeks, is one of the eight Kuwaiti islands. it is 20 km off shores .

Failaka was the only inhabited island in Kuwait. Prior to the Iraqi invasion 1990, there was 2000 residents living in Failaka. During the invasion the Iraqi forces depopulated Failaka and turn it to a huge military base . Currently almost all of the houses , buildings and infrastructures in Failaka is completely destroyed  and yet to be repaired .

Bahrain Grand Prix

Around the Arena

I have attended Bahrain Formula 1 Grand Prix last weekend,  although I’m not a motor sport fan and i have never attended such a competition before , but I really enjoyed the event as a whole , The atmosphere was simply amazing , people from all over the world gathered to witness the F1 season start with Michael Schumacher Return to the sport after 3 years retirement and Felipe Massa’s first race after his horrific crash , unfortunately I didn’t planned my trip very well , as everything has to be in the very last minutes , I managed to get a seat in the victory grand stand which is far from the main grand stand and it costs me 50 BHD , the ticket is valid for 3 days of the event and it will allow you to access  races, practices, events , parties or any thing held around the track , there are many different races all along the days of the event , 3 different parties  and countless shows all held in the track surroundings ..
